Less is more & a sneek peek

Hello, sorry I have been a very bad blogger this week, I have had the flu, and my little girl has also been quite poorly!  I made this first card on Sunday for the Less is more challenge, I don't know if it counts, as the flower has a stem, which is outside the format, but as I saw some other truly amazing creations with bits hanging down, I could not resist trying! lol

The stamp is from one of Stampin Ups new hostess sets called Simply Soft, this is a gorgeous two step stampin set.  I have also used the new in colours lucky limeade and island indigo, the sentiment is from the trendy trees set.  I coloured the image with a blender pen, and used the named in colour ink pads. I could not resist adding some dazzling diamonds to finish.

The new catalogue is released tomorrow, and is packed full of loveliness, if you would like something from it, please get in touch. x

Rainbow Butterfly

It's another wet, cold, soggy afternoon here in Somerset, I can see the heating going on soon.  Fed up with the dull grey sky, I decided to make a card using rainbow colours, and here is what I came up with.
All the products are Stampin' Up!  The sparkly gems are sooooooooooo pretty, in real life they are absolutly stunning and well worth the pennies! I used the sizzix Beautiful Butterflies emboslit (already a fav), the sentiment is from the current mini cataloge hostess set.

I still have a couple of spaces in the next marker share, and spaces available in the next Stampers 10 group.
I am taking names down for the new year where I will have new Stampers 6/8/10 groups starting.  If you would like to be in one of the groups, receive free goodies without the hassle of hosing your own party, please get in touch. x

Blue Birthday

Before I start, would you like to be a virtual hostess, enjoy the perks of hosting a party, without having the party?  Earn £25.00 in hostess pounds to spend on anything you like from the Stampin Up catalogue?  I have 2 spaces left in the second Stampin Up! marker pen and card share, if you would like a space please contact me for more details.

Onto today's post, here is a card I made for my cousin.  Yes he's a boy! lol  All the papers are from the designer series paper stack, the lighter colour is tempting turquoise from the brights stack, and the darker one is night of navy from the regals collection.  I made a rosette, I created the scalloped edge with the Stalloped edge punch, and used one of the stamps from the circle circus stamp set, cut it out with a circle punch and mounted it onto night of navy card stock, which was also created using a circle punch.  The sentiment is from the curly sentiments set. I love this set, I have used it loads already, and I've only had it a couple of weeks.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Stamptacular Sunday: Just Saying
Pile it on: Layer it
Creatalicious: Anything Goes
Creative Craft World: New - inc B'days

Heat and Stick

and some gorgeous dazzling diamonds.......
If it sparkles I have to have it.  I made this card a few weeks ago for the Charisma DT challenge, when the theme was glitter.  There was only one option.  Stampin Up! sparkling glitter - its so yummy when used with heat and stick.  Not sure the photo does it much justice, as it is sooooooooo sparkly in real life.
It's freezing here today, definitely think autumn has arrived! Boo!!!!

ILWS last chance blog hop Cath Kidston style

Well I am the last stop on the mega 25 long blog hop, so if you have made it here well done.
For the last chance blog hop, I used baby blossoms stamp set, which is in the current mini catalogue, along with the sentiment which is from the hostess set called something to celebrate.   I love the baby blossoms set as it has a Cath Kidston style to it, and you can make the colours in any colour combo that takes your fancy...
I used rose red, pink pirouette and certainly celery.  The stamp set is a two step stamp set, to get the stamps in the correct place I used my stamp am a jig.  The butterflies are beautiful wings embosslit.
I really enjoyed making these bits and pieces, and will use it loads in the future.
Thanks for joining us in the blog hop, I hope you enjoyed it. xxx

I would like to enter this card and box's into the Simply Stampin Challenge where the theme is butterflies.
Daring Card Makers: Butterflies.
Papertake Weekly: Anything Goes.

Last Charisma DT challenge for me!

It's a sad day today, as it's my last week as a DT member at Charisma.  I would like to thank Carlyann who gave me the oppertunity to be a part of such a great team, I have made some lovely friends, and met some very talented ladies, and spent hours drooling over some amazing creations.

This week the them is:

Inspired by a song

I really wanted to use my new Stampin Up owl punch, so I looked on you tube for some insperation that would fit the theme.  I came up with Oasis, Songbird, and when I actually thought about it, it was quite obvious, I think I was making it harder than it need be.

I made the card for my friend Kat, it is an acceptance to her twin boys christening later this month.  I don't have an acceptance stamp at the mo, so I thought I would say thank you for the invite instead.

To make this card I used the following materials:
Chocolate chip old olive & whisper white card stock, DSP brights, two step owl punch, little leaves die and curly cute sentiments.

I am a brand new SU demo, and part of a fantastic team, if you would like any of the items shown in this card, please get in touch, as I can order them for you.

Sally. xxx

I will be back later to link it to some challenges. x
