Quick Contempo Christmas

Another quick card using the gorgeous contempo Christmas set, the tree was stamped in real red, and has loads of dazzling diamonds on it, it looks much prettier in real life! The sentiment was stamped in black ink, cut out using  the modern label punch and mounded with 3d pads.
Apologies for not posting yesterday, it was one of those days where - life got in the way. xx

The happy couple

Here is a card I made for a friend who recently got married, then I could not help but make another in a different colour.  So quick easy and simple, would also make a great wedding invitation.
Its nice and simple, a white card base embossed with Manhattan Flower embossing folder, with a creamy white flower cut out using Fun Flowers die.  The centre was covered in diamond glaze and dazzling diamonds.  A little butterfly from my favourite embosslit die Beautiful Wings was added, the sentiment Mr & Mrs (which has not come out that great in the pic was added) is from the Tiny Tags stamp set.
I used blushing bride for the pink one and pool party for the blue one.

ILWS Blog Hop

Hope you are enjoying looking through the new Stampin Up catalogue, if your her the chances are you have arrived from Emma's blog.

The blog hop is to showcase new items from the catalogue.  I decided to use POOL PARTY one of the new in colours, I love it, it is such a fresh clean colour.  If I had not been ill this week, I would have made something else using one of the new stamp sets, but hay ho.

I was feeling a bit christmassy when I made these, probably had something to do with the freezing weather we had a few days ago! lol
I used the delightful decorations set and punch, heat and stick and dazzling diamonds.

Thanks for stopping by, you will now go onto Carolyn's blog.
If you have not yet seen the new catalogue, you can by clicking on the pic of the catalogue on the side bar, you should be able to view the new catalogue, if you would like to order anything, please feel free to contact me. pinkskysu@hptmail.co.uk or here is a quick link to my facebook page .  Thanks for visiting. xx

Less is more & a sneek peek

Hello, sorry I have been a very bad blogger this week, I have had the flu, and my little girl has also been quite poorly!  I made this first card on Sunday for the Less is more challenge, I don't know if it counts, as the flower has a stem, which is outside the format, but as I saw some other truly amazing creations with bits hanging down, I could not resist trying! lol

The stamp is from one of Stampin Ups new hostess sets called Simply Soft, this is a gorgeous two step stampin set.  I have also used the new in colours lucky limeade and island indigo, the sentiment is from the trendy trees set.  I coloured the image with a blender pen, and used the named in colour ink pads. I could not resist adding some dazzling diamonds to finish.

The new catalogue is released tomorrow, and is packed full of loveliness, if you would like something from it, please get in touch. x

Heat and Stick

and some gorgeous dazzling diamonds.......
If it sparkles I have to have it.  I made this card a few weeks ago for the Charisma DT challenge, when the theme was glitter.  There was only one option.  Stampin Up! sparkling glitter - its so yummy when used with heat and stick.  Not sure the photo does it much justice, as it is sooooooooo sparkly in real life.
It's freezing here today, definitely think autumn has arrived! Boo!!!!
